Weigh

Weigh out 70 grams of your coffee beans. We recommend investing in one of these scales for this, but if you don’t have one, it should be about 1/3 cup of coffee beans.

2.

Grind

Grind coffee to a medium-coarse level. It should be a little finer than what you would use for a French press, but more coarse than what you use for a pourover.

3.

Brew

In stages, pour in 1 liter of room temperature water. This will take a while as it will drip slowly. Stir at least once to make sure all of your grounds are completely saturated. Let the coffee steep for at least 12 hours but no more than 24. Taste as you go to find your preference. There will be a small amount of fine grounds at the bottom, be mindful of it when serving.
